With more than 160 members, Orpheus Choir Wellington is New Zealand's premier symphonic Choir. While the Choir regularly stages sell-out concerts and has a strong appeal with its traditional audiences, the Orpheus Board asked Moxie to address the perception of choirs as being elitist and only for die-hard, predominantly pakeha, classical music buffs. This was limiting its ability to attract diverse audiences and singers.
