Moxie is proud to be the Brand Partner of the Climate Change and Business Conference.This important annual event brings community leaders, businesses, government entities, NGOs, and individuals together to catalyse action on climate change and foster resilience, adaptability and a fair transition.

The Climate Change and Business Conference has been run for many years by the Environmental Defence Society (EDS). To achieve greater impact, in 2021, EDS partnered with the Sustainable Business Council.

As it was a new departure for the event, the organisers wanted a distinctive and relevant identity to underpin its importance and asked Moxie if we could help.

In designing the logo mark, lines that reference both weather and tidal patterns morph into the shape of New Zealand, creating an abstract globe. The mark has a feeling of movement and flux, suggesting that the actions on New Zealand can effect these patterns. A strong colour gradient enhances this feeling of flux.

Each year, we have refreshed the original look and feel, bringing in new colours and messaging. The result is a strong and memorable identity that brings each year’s conference theme alive and stands out well within the environmental sector.
