Our policy is to bring core skills in-house and work with trusted suppliers in areas this doesn’t include.  The point is to know enough about all the options to be able to provide relevant and up-to-date advice to our clients without necessarily employing specialists in every communications discipline. Video and DVD production as the cornerstone in any contemporary organisation’s promotional toolkit and we welcome Simon Matthews to our team as Creative Director, Video/DVD. Simon taps into a young and highly talented group of film makers who revel in creating all types of video from corporate to viral. This group has an outstanding track record in creating videos that achieve the client’s objectives, delivering products that are not only visually compelling, but also are affordable and will build strong loyalty for your organisation.

Prior to joining up with Moxie, Simon has been a film production manager for over three years, run an independent music production company and, more recently, managed a group of the finest filmmakers in Wellington.  He has started and managed relationships with some of New Zealand’s top brands and government agencies including Kiwibank, BMW, BBC, Double Hill Heli, Telecom, Department of Conservation, Grab One and Wellington City Council. He brings a strongly processed-focused approach to all of his project, filling the integral gap between the creative execution of filming and the client’s objectives resulting in happy clients with end results they love.

From managing productions for over 100 web videos, to recording sound in underground caves for the BBC, Simon brings unique experience and essential skills in a changing market to the team. Specifically, he brings an in-depth understanding of how to successfully embed video in the marketing mix and how to use it to fullest effect in any social media marketing strategy.
